Uniting Idahoans who believe in limited government, individual liberty, and the principles that built the Gem State. The movement is growing — and your voice matters.
Join Idaho conservatives statewide. Your information stays private — always.
The Idaho Conservatives exist to defend the values that have always defined our state. These aren't talking points — they're convictions.
Government closest to the people governs best. We stand for reduced regulation, fiscal accountability, and the sovereignty of Idaho against federal overreach.
Every Idahoan has God-given rights that no government can grant or take away. The Second Amendment, religious freedom, and parental rights are non-negotiable.
Strong families need strong communities. We champion Idaho agriculture, small business, property rights, and responsible stewardship of our land and water.
Organizing, informing, and empowering conservative Idahoans at every level of civic life — from the precinct to the statehouse.
Idaho is one of the last states in America where conservative values aren't just tolerated — they're expected. But that legacy is not self-sustaining. It requires an organized, informed citizenry willing to hold the line.
The Idaho Conservatives was founded on a simple premise: that the people of this state — ranchers in Owyhee County, families in the Treasure Valley, timber workers in the Panhandle, business owners in Eastern Idaho — deserve a platform that represents their values without compromise, without apology, and without the influence of out-of-state interests.
We are not beholden to any single politician or faction. We are beholden to principles. And those principles are clear: the Constitution means what it says, the government serves the people — not the other way around — and Idaho's future should be decided by Idahoans.
Our CommitmentsThe U.S. Constitution and the Idaho State Constitution are the supreme governing documents — not suggestions, not living documents to be reinterpreted by activists.
Every tax dollar belongs to the people who earned it. We demand transparent budgets, zero-based budgeting, and an end to wasteful spending at every level of Idaho government.
National security begins at the border. Idaho's communities deserve protection from the downstream effects of illegal immigration — our state must not become a sanctuary for lawlessness.
Parents are the primary educators of their children. We support school choice, curriculum transparency, and oppose ideology-driven mandates in Idaho's classrooms.
The right to keep and bear arms is not negotiable, not conditional, and not subject to the whims of federal agencies. Idaho's constitutional carry laws must be defended.
Policy cannot be written exclusively for Boise. Water rights, land use, agriculture, and resource management must reflect the realities of rural Idaho communities.
The fights that matter to Idaho families. Not abstract debates — real issues with real consequences for our communities.
Every election cycle, politicians promise and forget. We're here to ensure Idaho's conservative priorities don't get shelved once the votes are counted.
Idaho families are being taxed out of their own homes. Property valuations have skyrocketed while wages haven't kept pace. We support meaningful reform including assessment caps, exemption expansion for primary residences, and shifting the burden away from homeowners toward responsible government budgeting.
Water is life in Idaho — for our farms, our families, and our economy. We oppose any federal attempt to reclassify or restrict Idaho's water rights. The state must maintain full authority over water adjudication, and rural communities must have a voice equal to urban interests in resource allocation.
Idaho parents have the right to know what their children are being taught — and to reject materials that conflict with their values. We support school choice through education savings accounts, protecting homeschool freedoms, requiring curriculum transparency, and keeping classrooms focused on academics.
The federal government controls over 60% of Idaho's land. This is a sovereignty issue. We support responsible transfer of federal lands to state management — improving fire management, increasing access, and returning decision-making to the people who actually live here.
Confidence in our elections is the foundation of self-governance. We advocate for voter ID enforcement, regular voter roll maintenance, paper ballot backups, transparent counting procedures, and enhanced chain-of-custody protections.
Idaho is a constitutional carry state — and it must stay that way. We oppose red flag laws, universal background check mandates, and any federal regulation that infringes on the right to bear arms. We support strengthening Idaho's firearms preemption laws statewide.
Agriculture is Idaho's backbone — a multi-billion dollar industry that feeds the nation. We defend the right to farm, support labor solutions that work for producers, and oppose environmental policies that prioritize ideology over the livelihoods of farm and ranch families.
A growing coalition of Idaho citizens committed to conservative governance, constitutional principles, and community-driven action.
The Idaho Conservatives began the way most important things in Idaho do — around a kitchen table. A small group of citizens, frustrated with the growing disconnect between elected officials and the people they represent, decided it was time to build something different.
Not another political action committee chasing donations. Not a lobby group with a slick office in downtown Boise. A genuine, grassroots organization that speaks for the truck driver in Nampa, the cattle rancher in Salmon, the teacher in Idaho Falls, and the small business owner in Coeur d'Alene.
Today, The Idaho Conservatives has grown into a statewide network of engaged citizens who believe conservative governance isn't just a preference — it's a responsibility. We organize at the local level, advocate at the state level, and hold elected officials accountable at every level.
We're not just a website. We're boots on the ground in communities across the state.
We help conservatives in every Idaho county build local networks, attend precinct meetings, and engage with their local government. Change starts at home.
We publish voter guides, candidate scorecards, and legislative tracking reports so Idahoans can make informed decisions at the ballot box.
Every session, we monitor bills, mobilize citizen testimony, and ensure Idaho's conservative majority actually governs like one.
Our leadership is made up of volunteers — everyday Idahoans who stepped up because they believe in this mission.
